Maryam didn't really develop as a photographer the same way that James did: she was always that annoying person you get at parties and events who took a million photos, trying to capture everything going on. Maryam's love of photography stems from there; she loved getting the people she loved on film and now.. now she loves capturing pretty much anyone in photos, especially herself! (Yes, yes, Maryam is a little bit vain when around a camera.)
Always full of energy, Maryam likens herself to a bunny. She hops around a lot, always smiling and dancing. She likes people to feel at ease because she believes capturing personality is all about confidence and being relaxed.
Everything Maryam knows about photography and editing is self-taught, largely from experimenting with a wide variety of cameras (she has a large collection of both film and digital cameras) and and then exploring them inside Photoshop.
She particularly enjoys fashion photography: the amazing results you can get by both bringing out the best in a model and choosing the best clothing and style. She maintains a huge scrapbook full of high fashion images and ideas.
