We're extremely aware of the need for extensive research before a project begins. To paraphrase Adrian Shaughnessy,
"There’s no such thing as bad clients: only bad designers. We love to blame our clients for poor work. When projects go sour, it’s always the clients — never us — who are at fault. We must educate ourselves in the ways of our clients. Then — and only then — will clients take us seriously."
We take the time to meet you and really try to find out what kind of result you're looking for. We'll then thoroughly research that area, whether it's Victorian technology, games consoles, or punk music. Together we'll create a scrapbook of thoughts and related imagery, and if necessary we can then meet pre-shoot and talk this through, coming up with more ideas as we go.
This will then form the basis of the shoot, making sure you get great results, we work efficiently, and you get good value for money.
